Ephemeral - 2018
Projection mapping installation
Paper, cardboard and optical film
When we remember the past, we omit details, or we include new ones. Constantly influenced by our experiences through time, our memory evolves, changes and is affected by our own imagination or the natural process of forgetfulness.
Ephemeral is a video installation composed of five consecutive panels made of materials that reflect, distort, absorb or block the light. Each one of these panels reflects the same projected image in a different way creating a new transformed image. All these new reflections elaborate together a visual representation of how one single memory can develop and change through time.
Concept, art direction, production: Laura Criollo-Carrillo
